School Experience

So as to begin my long journey to be a teacher, I have to go through two weeks of school experience. One at a primary school, and yeps, the other at a secondary school.

The first week was filled with pure innocence, cuteness, niceness. It's like Powerpuff Girls. Sugar spice and everything nice.

Then came the horror of this week.

Today's the first day at the secondary school. It was alright so far. Us trainees (not a lot, just five of us year ones) got the staff lounge to ourselves. Students were still not that scary yet. Hearing stories from celestine online gave me chills, but no, cannot, it's still early days to be daunted. Tomorrow I have a technical class. Oh dear God, please let them be nice and not overly excited.

Everyone have their insecurities. Facing these insecurities in front of that age group of kids is just awesome, pure awesomeness. It's like my secondary school life all over again. The feeling of people not liking you, the pressure of want to be well-liked. Just like the Americans say, high school will always be high school. Downright nasty. Watch Glee and you will know the perils of being a high school student (and teacher).

Peace out for another week or so till another emo post comes again. :)
